Perform all ultrasound exams and procedures as ordered by referring physicians for the Women's Imaging team. Manage peripheral activities including patient identification, education, documentation, and ensuring results are delivered to physicians.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program, and ARDMS certification. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Maryland (BPQA) and hold a Healthcare Provider CPR certification with 3 years of general sonography experience.
This position performs all ultrasound exams/procedures as ordered by our referring physicians supporting our Womens Imaging team. Position is accountable for all peripheral activities associated with each test/procedure, e.g. ID patient, educating patient and family members, validating order and ordering physician, completing all paperwork, completing all Meditech entries, transferring images, and ensuring that ordering physicians receive final results.
