BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential.

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals: One year + experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities High school diploma or equivalent (18+) Ability to work various shift types and locations while being adaptable and flexible Ability to transport clients to community activities Ability to travel from client to client within the zip code list provided How You’ll Make an Impact: Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming) Accompany clients on errands and appointments Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation Participate in community integration activities Compensation & Schedule: Competitive pay rate starting at $18/hr.
