The PTA will deliver direct treatment services under the supervision of a physical therapist according to the established patient treatment plan. Responsibilities include aiding in intervention plan development, adapting activities for patient needs, and accurately documenting all treatment services provided.
Candidates must be graduates of an APTA accredited school and possess a valid PTA license, ideally with 0-2 years of experience. Essential requirements include knowledge of physical therapy principles, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct treatment services under the supervision of a physical therapist following the documented patient treatment plan. They will aid in the development/ coordination of intervention plans and adapt activities according to the needs of the patient as well as appropriately document treatment services.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and the public. Ability to interact appropriately with colleagues and patients for different purposes and different context. Heavy work excreting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move object.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 25% of the time. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. Work independently and identify potentially more effective methods of work operations. Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. Ability to identify and distinguish colors. Occasionally operates computer and other machinery.
