The Cath Lab Nurse RN provides care for patients undergoing various cardiac and interventional procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care. Responsibilities also include operating life-saving equipment and collaborating with physicians to develop individualized care plans.
Candidates must be a licensed RN in Michigan with an associate degree, though a bachelor's degree is preferred. Two years of critical care nursing experience is required, along with ACLS and BLS certifications within one month of hire.
This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This position cares for Structural heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic / planned intervention Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of procedural process, post-procedure care and patient education. *Eligible for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus*
Certifications and Licensures
ACLS - Within 1 month of hire or transfer BLS - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
Required Education: RN – licensed through the State of Michigan Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
