The pharmacist will perform computer order entry, review medication profiles for appropriateness and safety, and document interventions while consistently problem-solving independently. Duties also include managing technicians, validating medication accuracy, auditing controlled substances, and participating in clinical programs and educational activities.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree along with at least one year of pharmacy experience. Required certifications include eligibility for Texas licensure, ACPE-accredited Sterile Compounding (IV) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days for inpatient roles.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Experience 1 year of pharmacy experience English (speaking, reading, writing) Licenses and Certifications Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) is required Upon Hire and Texas license with TSBP within 30 Days (ACPE-IV) STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE Upon Hire and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification with course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire and ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) will be required for inpatient positions within 180 Days Preferred Experience 1 year of pharmacy experience
