The role involves encouraging positive relationship building and promoting independence among individuals served, alongside providing transportation and participation in community activities. Responsibilities also include personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, health monitoring, and support with cooking and meal preparation.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required, and a valid State of Michigan driver's license is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, pass applicable background checks, and become certified in CPR/First Aid.
