The Nurse Clinician II assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents the daily care of assigned patients, executing physician's orders and administering treatments in a compassionate manner. Responsibilities also include providing patient/family teaching, coordinating care activities, and ensuring continuity of care through effective communication and delegation.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of six months of clinical RN experience or successful completion of the Nurse Clinician I probationary period, holding a current Texas RN license or permit and current BLS certification. The role requires the ability to practice independently according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act, focusing on expanding knowledge within the specialty area.
Salary commensurate with experience.
