The EVS Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning assigned areas, including operating rooms, patient rooms, and offices, while ensuring housekeeping supplies are stocked daily. Duties involve floor care, trash removal, performing terminal cleaning, and demonstrating proper decontamination of clinical areas according to hospital policy.
A High School Diploma or equivalent education is required for this position. One year of experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping within an ambulatory/surgical setting is preferred.

Under the supervision of the EVS Supervisor, the EVS Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all areas they are assigned and trained to clean, such as: the operating room(s), patient rooms, bathrooms, administrative offices, O.R. break room, and other facility areas as needed and assigned.
Bending, sitting, squatting, crawling, reaching, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, pushing and pulling with an exertion of up to 50 lbs.
