The Audiologist is responsible for administering and interpreting various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, including evaluating results to determine the likely cause, prognosis, and addressing issues related to hearing loss and tinnitus. Duties also involve operating computerized programs for medical record management, conducting otoscope examinations, cerumen management, and equipment calibration checks.
require a Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD) or equivalent advanced degree, along with an active and unrestricted audiologist license in the state of practice, and ASHA certification or graduation from an ASHA certified program. Two years of experience in an Audiology role is preferred.
Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD), Master’s of Audiology (M.A.), Master’s of Science Degree in Audiology (M.S.), Audiology of Speech Language Pathology Degree (PHD), Master’s in Communication Disorders (MCD), Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D) An active and unrestricted audiologist license in the state in which exams are performed Must be either ASHA certified or have completed a master’s or doctorate level through an ASHA certified program. 2 years experience in Audiology role (preferred) Qualifications
