The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care by performing administrative and delegated clinical tasks. They work as part of a care team led by physicians and advanced practice providers in a clinic-based environment.
A high school diploma or GED and knowledge of EMR and Microsoft Office are required, with BLS certification needed shortly after hire. An associate's degree, medical assistant certification (CMA/RMA), and prior clinical experience are preferred.
