The Registered Dietician coordinates nutritional care for residents through assessments and care planning meetings. They provide nutritional counseling and education while ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.
Candidates must hold a Registered Dietician licensure and have at least one year of experience in long-term care. Proficiency with enteral nutrition and MDS 3.0 is required.
1. Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments
2. Participate in care planning meetings as required
3. Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family
4. Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards 5. Perform duties independently without training or direction
