The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for planning and providing nursing care to patients and their families during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. This includes managing perinatal emergencies and supervising ancillary personnel.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and two years of Labor & Delivery experience. Required certifications include RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring.

The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for the planning and provision of nursing care to patients and their families during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations and circulating for C-Sections. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.
