The nursing assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor. They utilize skills as outlined in the scope of practice by the relevant authorities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and current Nursing Assistant Level I certification. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
4-Medical is a 27-bed inpatient medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population, with a focus on gastrointestinal illnesses and diabetes management. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing assistant who is passionate about patient-centered care and eager to join a collaborative healthcare team that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Nurse Externs. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and clinical excellence are valued every day.
Provides direct patient care while working under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor utilizing skills as outlined in the scope of practice by the Department of Human Services Division of Facility Services or NC Board of Nursing.
