The Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, maintaining sterile technique and monitoring patient data. They ensure the procedure room is prepared and participate in departmental activities.
Candidates must have ARRT-R certification and state licensure, with VI preferred. BCLS certification is required upon hire, and ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
★ Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures – work side-by-side with physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases. ★ Own the procedure room – scrub in, maintain sterile technique, and ensure everything is ready for seamless cases. ★ Monitor what matters most – track real-time hemodynamic data that directly impacts patient outcomes. ★ Keep operations running strong – manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness at a high level. ★ Grow within a skilled team – support training, collaborate with peers, and be part of continuous improvement. ★ Make an impact across cases – contribute to both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. ★ Deliver safe, high-quality care – uphold top standards in patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred. 2. Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred. 3. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. 4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. 5. Proficient computer skills. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 to $53.59.
