The Unit Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. This role is essential for maintaining the daily activities of the Inpatient Unit while adhering to hospital policies and confidentiality standards.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills are essential, along with prior clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
