Conduct structured psychosocial intake assessments to triage the appropriate level of care for adult outpatient services. Provide high-quality acute mental health and chemical dependency services to patients and their families.
Requires a Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health profession and a California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist. Preference is given to candidates with two years of licensed clinical experience and expertise in DBT and acute psychiatric care.
To provide high-quality acute mental health and/or chemical dependency services to patients and their family members. The goal of these services is to treat the presenting illness and return the patient to a previous or higher level of functioning within the community. QUALIFICATIONS Master's or doctoral degree in one of the mental health professions. Prefer two (2) years' licensed clinical experience with adolescents and their families, including experience in: assessment, referral, group, individual, couples, and family therapies and short-term treatment. Experience with acute psychiatric care strongly preferred. DBT experience preferred. The role will primarily support intake evaluations for adult outpatient services in the Mental Health & Addiction Services department. Individuals in this position will conduct a structured psychosocial intake assessment to triage appropriate level of care and provide program recommendations for community members seeking mental health and substance use disorder services.
