The Research Nurse I will provide patient care services for patients enrolled in research protocols approved by the Northside Hospital IRB, involving tasks like registration, data handling, reporting adverse events, and managing records. Major functions encompass roles as a practitioner, researcher, educator, and consultant within the research framework.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with an Associate or Bachelor's degree and hold an unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Georgia, along with one year of relevant clinical experience and current BLS certification. Certification as CCRC or CCRP is required within three years of hire, along with specific oncology or BMT certification if applicable.

The Medical Technologist for Northside Hospital’s Choice+ Local Program develops and monitors test systems, and performs and interprets laboratory tests for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution, and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Associate's degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations. Personnel must submit to a color-acuity screening test prior to performing duties PREFERRED Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
