The primary responsibility involves greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives, ensuring all necessary admission information is accurately recorded and processed while strictly adhering to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency of healthcare service delivery within the facility.
Candidates should ideally possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a hospital registration or Urgent Care setting, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of patient admission processes. Proficiency in computer applications, including patient accounting systems, and adherence to HIPAA and PCI compliance are mandatory.
