The Physical Therapist Assistant provides Physical Therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, maintaining compliance with policies, and participating in quality assessment and program development.
Candidates must have an associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and a current license in the State of Florida. Additionally, maintaining current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification is required.
Education/Training Associate degree or graduate from an accredited two-year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant. Licensure/Certification Current license in the State of Florida as Physical Therapist Assistant. Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
