The Physical Therapist performs evaluations, establishes care plans, and ensures delivery of prescribed care to patients. They also provide direction to clinical support staff and promote physical therapy services within the organization and community.
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and an active license in Kansas are required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Doctorate degree and experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting.
Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.
