The Cat Scan Technologist will perform Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering contrast, and monitoring patient conditions during procedures.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in CT scan. An active New Jersey State License and A.R.R.T. certification are required.
The Cat Scan Technologist will be responsible for performing Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and Cat Scan interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients. Prepare patients for scanning Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered Provide accurate explanations and instructions Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines Monitor the patient’s physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure Perform any and all other duties as assigned
