The Medical Assistant performs nursing functions for physicians, including preparing equipment, administering medications, and coordinating patient care. They also handle appointment bookings, patient education, and maintain exam room supplies.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited medical assistant program. An active MA certification or registration and a current BLS certification are also required.
Performs nursing functions for physician/extender. Supports the Objectives and Philosophy of White-Wilson Medical Center.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Repetitive motion of upper body required for extended use of computer. Required specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position in an outpatient medical business office setting. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some overtime as approved in advance.
This position does not require any travel.
This position requires regular and reliable on-site attendance.
