The Medical Assistant performs routine technical support services, including setting up exam rooms, checking in patients, and obtaining vital signs. They also conduct venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing while maintaining patient records and continuity of care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred qualifications include a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential and certifications in phlebotomy, audiometry, and vision testing.

Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.
