Certified surgical technician - First assist (Pt varied)

Experience

• Three to five (3-5) years surgical tech experience required. Five to eight (5-8) years surgical tech experience preferred.
• Technical
• Skills: Continuing education programs to maintain and enhance clinical competencies related to perioperative or First Assisting practice.
• License/Certification: Current CSFA Certification (through NBSTSA), CSA (through NSAA), or SA-C certification (through ABSA) required. Certification must be maintained for employment. Current American Heart Association (BLS).

Other

• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
