The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical support by managing patient care tasks such as recording vital signs, performing EKGs, and administering injections. They also handle clerical duties, maintain EMR records, and travel between office locations to ensure efficient operations.
Candidates must hold a valid Medical Assistant Certification and possess proven experience in a medical office setting. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills are required to effectively support physicians and patients.
As a Certified Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure the efficient operation of our Monroe location and float to other central locations. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communicate with accuracy, quality and timeliness. Duties include: Taking and recording vital signs and EKGs. Preparing patients for examinations. Obtain and update patient medication lists and give injections. Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians. EMR, rooming patients, clerical work, if needed. Willing to travel to other locations.
