The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, and implement individual patient care plans while providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and families. They are responsible for documenting patient records accurately, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and supervising support staff.
Candidates must have an active Illinois RN license and at least one year of recent emergency room experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with NIHSS and TNCC being highly desired.
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room - (Nights) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Murphysboro, IL 62966.
Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs Establish a compassionate environment to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patient and families Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team. Provide in health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain the optimum health level of patients Demonstrate ability to use clinical judgement in conjunction with critical thinking to recognize, act upon, and report changes in patient condition. Complete, accurate and timely documentation in patient medical record Provide input into the development of policies and procedures to support patient safety and quality of care Supervision and delegation responsibilities of licensed practical nurse and/or unlicensed assistant personnel Serve as an advocate for the patient by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals Timely completion of required education, competencies, and licensure.
Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer
Minimum Requirements: 1+ year recent ER experience is preferred Active IL RN License required BLS, ACLS, PALS are required NIHSS & TNCC highly desired Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required) Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
