The CT Technologist is responsible for performing radiography, CT scans, and interventional procedures while maintaining accurate patient documentation. They also assist with the daily supervision of the CT team and ensure the cleanliness and preparation of examination rooms.
Candidates must hold an associate degree in Radiologic Technology and possess or be eligible for a New York State license. Additionally, ARRT certification and NYS injection certification are required within six months of employment.
Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT-guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock, and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment.
Prior Radiologic Technologist experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
