The anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, robotic, and OB/GYN procedures. They will also participate in a collaborative care team model and share out-of-house call responsibilities.
Candidates must have completed an accredited ACGME Anesthesiology residency program or equivalent. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in anesthesiology.
Saint Luke’s Physician Group in Kansas City is searching for qualified BC/BE anesthesiologists for our Main Operating Room (MOR) team at Saint Luke’s North Hospital – Barry Rd in Kansas City. Applicants will be joining a vibrant division encompassing in total over 170 anesthesiologists, critical care intensivists, CRNAs, AAs, Anesthesia Residents, and Advanced Practice Providers throughout the system. About the position Full-time position covering MOR cases such as general, ortho, robotic, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, plastic surgery, GI lab, and OOOR procedures Collaborative care team model using medical direction up to 1:4, physicians personally provide anesthesia on an infrequent basis Out-of-house call shifts (within prescribed driving distance from hospital) split by team of 5 anesthesiologists; call team comprised of in-house CRNA/AA covering OB Extremely competitive compensation package that includes a guaranteed salary in addition to excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision & malpractice insurance, tax-deferred retirement plan with employer match, paid time off and a yearly CME allowance Perspective candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing an accredited and approved ACGME Anesthesiology residency program or comparable, and be BC/BE in anesthesiology About Saint Luke’s Saint Luke’s serves the West Region of BJC Health, one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States.
