Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in supporting surgeons and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments and equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience.

• What you’ll do
• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized, assembled, and functioning
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently during procedures
• Assist with specimen handling and preparation for laboratory processing
• Clean, turnover, and restock operating rooms after procedures
• Monitor and maintain surgical supply inventory
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Support infection prevention and patient safety standards at all times

• What you bring
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
