The Surgical Scrub Technician prepares the operating room and assists surgeons by passing sterile instruments and supplies during procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining aseptic technique, cleaning the operating room, and managing surgical inventory.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, completion of a surgical technician training program, and at least one year of relevant operating room experience. Current certification in Cardiac Life Support and Surgical Technology is required.

The Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in supporting surgeons and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments and equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience.
This position requires standing for extended periods and assisting in a fast-paced surgical setting. Team members may occasionally lift supplies or equipment and may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, steam, sharps, and moving medical equipment while following strict safety protocols.
