The Physical Therapy Assistant provides therapy services in home settings under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of care. They are responsible for documenting treatment, communicating with the interdisciplinary team, and assisting with discharge planning and adaptive equipment needs.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold an associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and possess a current, unencumbered state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant. One year of experience in a home care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
Support PTs in therapy sessions aimed at patient mobility improvement. Use AI tools to assist in documenting therapy outcomes efficiently. Focus on meaningful interactions while minimizing documentation distractions. Education and/or Experience A Bachelor/Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy. 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a home care or rehabilitation setting. Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required. Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
