The Certified Medical Assistant provides patient-centered care and collaborates with the care team to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of patients. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, assisting with examinations, and reinforcing patient education.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be a graduate of a medical assistant program. Certification as a Medical Assistant or a valid LPN license is required, along with BLS certification.
