Position Summary and Purpose The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will facilitate an exceptional patient care experience by providing counseling, assessment, and treatment of psychiatric conditions, in the Psychiatry outpatient clinic. Essential Functions:
Provide direct patient care to psychiatric patients, including individuals and families
Perform diagnostic evaluations, interviews and cognitive examinations
Responsible for obtaining medical histories
Develop client treatment plans based on research, clinical experience, and client histories
Coordinate counseling efforts with psychiatrists
Review and evaluate clients' progress in relation to measurable goals described in treatment and care plans.
Responsible for timely, accurate and complete patient notes in the electronic medical record.
Complete and sign billing fee ticket with all required components daily for each patient see so that daily bills for services can be generated.
Respond to emergency calls from patients.
Attend weekly clinical meetings with the physicians. Other Functions:
Proficient with Electronic Medical Records Systems and be able to work effectively and efficiently in multiple systems
Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times.
