Responsible for the overall operation of the assigned laboratory department. Conducts various laboratory tests in compliance with Cherokee Nation policies, OSHA, CLIA'88, and COLA regulations.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or graduation from an approved Medical Technology School and at least three years of experience as a Registered Medical Technologist. Must maintain Medical Technologist registration and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsible for the overall operation of the assigned department. Conducts a variety of laboratory tests and duties according to established laboratory procedures, and in compliance with Cherokee Nation Policies and Procedures, Rural Health Guidelines and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA'88), and Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) regulations, or any other applicable rules, regulations and guidelines.
