The counselor will conduct intakes, screenings, and assessments to develop personalized treatment plans for clients struggling with substance use disorders. They will also facilitate individual and group counseling sessions while maintaining detailed progress records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold specific state-recognized credentials such as CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, RADC, CCJP, LAC, or LCAC in Missouri or Kansas. A strong understanding of addiction treatment principles and the ability to provide telehealth services are required.

Here's what you'll get to do: Complete intakes, screenings, and assessments to help us create personalized treatment plans for our clients Develop and implement treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals Work with clients to teach them coping mechanisms, stress management techniques, and other strategies to help them succeed in their recovery Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is on the same page Keep detailed records of client progress and updates Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices and industry trends Represent our company in the community and build positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and other professionals Handle crisis situations with grace and professionalism Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions focused on promoting recovery, healthy decision-making, and improved problem-solving skills Collaborate with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to client care Experience and Education Qualifications: Missouri: Hold the credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (MCB) Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC), Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRAADC), or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC), Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP); or Credential of Co-Occurring Kansas: Hold the credentials as defined by the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board, (BSRB) Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) OR Appropriate State Board *Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states, other than the state currently licensed in. Applicant must be willing and comfortable with providing telehealth services to the individuals we serve.
