Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and urgent conditions in a fast-paced emergency environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Must have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department. Requires strong critical thinking skills and the flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department on a permanent full-time or part-time basis (minimum 0.5 FTE).

Based at our Springfield campus, this role will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — opening early 2026. This state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.
