The Physical Therapist Assistant assists with the implementation of therapy plans of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT. They are responsible for delegating tasks to supportive personnel and communicating regularly with the supervising therapist to ensure effective patient treatment.
Candidates must hold current state licensure or be eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Additionally, they must possess or obtain BLS certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation in Plano (Alliance), is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to add to our team. We provide outpatient physcial therapy services to patients with diagnoses including but not limited to: post-op population, chronic pain, amputees, pain management, TMJ, vestibular, etc. Ideal candidate is proactive, team player, self-starter and interested in program and clinical development. Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care. Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, in order to enhance patient care services. Consistently communicates with supervising PT in regard to scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction. Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice.
