Interpret a high volume of screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs, focusing on early detection and accurate diagnosis. Perform stereotactic breast biopsies and coordinate with a multidisciplinary breast team to develop patient-centered care plans.
Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training or significant experience in Breast Imaging. Proficiency in stereotactic breast biopsies and eligibility for an Illinois medical license are also required.
Interpret a high-volume of screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast MRIs, and related imaging studies with a focus on early detection and accurate diagnosis. Perform stereotactic breast biopsies (core needle) as a core procedural competency, along with ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided biopsies when indicated, ensuring precise, minimally invasive tissue sampling. Provide timely consultations for abnormal findings, coordinate with multidisciplinary breast team (oncologists, surgeons, pathologists) to develop patient-centered care plans and facilitate rapid workup/treatment pathways. Participate in breast tumor board/multidisciplinary conferences, quality assurance reviews, and peer learning to maintain high standards in breast imaging and intervention.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $450,000 -$600,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
