The Speech Language Pathologist supervises, evaluates, and provides speech therapy services to patients in a home setting. They treat patients with speech disorders, swallowing difficulties, and communication impairments, including those recovering from strokes or neurological conditions.
Candidates must hold a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist and possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. The role requires the ability to travel to patient homes in various weather conditions.
Our Speech Language Pathologists supervise, evaluate and provide speech therapy services to clients in a home setting as prescribed by the attending physician. The SLP treats patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect communication. In addition they participate in helping patients that may be recovering from a stroke or other neurological disorders. This part-time salaried position works 24 hours/week, over 4 days in the week, and is eligible for our 60% paid days off program.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must possess automobile liability insurance. Must wear seat belts at all times while driving. Dependable transportation kept in good working condition. Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions. Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.
