The Physical Therapist Assistant will implement treatment plans under the guidance of licensed therapists to help patients regain strength and mobility. They are responsible for monitoring patient progress, documenting care in Epic, and collaborating with the broader rehabilitation team.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess a current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license. Experience in a hospital or acute care setting, along with specialized knowledge in Parkinson’s or vestibular treatment, is preferred.
As a full time, nonexempt Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Working under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists, you'll implement treatment plans, support patient progress, and contribute to a collaborative care environment. Perform physical therapy treatments according to plan of care in outpatient, acute care, or home health settings Monitor patient responses to treatment and ensure exercises are performed safely and correctly Document via Epic or Homecare application Perform clinical upkeep as needed Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation staff Adhere to state practice acts, facility policies, and professional standards

Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing (or eligibility)
Experience in a hospital or acute care setting Experience with Parkinson’s treatment and/or vestibular treatment
