The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate provides peer support services to patients in recovery from substance use disorders and facilitates connections to community resources. They also assist the clinical team with documentation, crisis support, and staff training on recovery trends.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and hold a valid CRPA, CRPA-P, or CRPA-P Eligible certification. Successful completion of at least 46 hours of OASAS-approved training in recovery advocacy and ethics is required.
