Performs various EEG examinations, extended epilepsy monitoring, and evoke potentials studies using specialized equipment. Collects diagnostic patient data to assist in the detection of brain and sleep disorders.
Requires a 2-year degree and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Related experience with healthcare equipment in a hospital setting is necessary.
Effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Basic knowledgeable of or ability to learn various electroencephalographic procedures and processes. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions. Bilingual, English and Spanish Preferred.
