Provide goal-directed treatment and individualized care planning to promote patient independence in mobility and functional performance. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain accurate patient records under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requires an Associate degree or vocational training and a current PTA license or eligibility in the State of Oklahoma. Must obtain AHA BLS-HCP certification within 30 days and be capable of meeting medium physical strength demands.
The Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing direct patient care and individualized care planning/implementation. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned. Outpatient Physical Therapist is under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (pursuant to the laws of the state).
