Under clinical management direction, the assistant helps assess, plan, and implement physical therapy for patients while maintaining the operational aspects of the therapy unit. Responsibilities also include supervising subordinate staff, students, and volunteers as delegated.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited program with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy and must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Pennsylvania, along with holding CPR certification. Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills is also required.
