The Certified Medical Assistant will support behavioral health providers by managing patient care, coordinating schedules, and facilitating seamless service delivery. They will also foster collaboration with internal teams and external telehealth partners to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program, or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in Idaho. Strong organizational, communication, and care coordination skills are required, with preference given to those with experience in behavioral health or telehealth.
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program, or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho. Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment. Strong organizational and care coordination skills, with the ability to manage schedules and multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written comprehension/expression. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing patient and program needs. Experience or interest in behavioral health or care coordination strongly preferred. Ability to exhibit behaviors consistent with organizational values (efficiency, safety, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and respect). Previous experience supporting behavioral health or telehealth services, preferred. Experience with care coordination, referral management, or program support. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems. Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence.
