Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Professional certifications such as ACRE and CESP are required to be completed within the first year of employment.

The Employment Professional is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities as they pursue employment opportunities aligned with their personal goals and strengths. This role focuses on delivering individualized support, fostering community integration, and promoting collaboration to ensure success in the workplace. The Employment Professional provides a range of supported employment services tailored to each person's needs, with the goal of enhancing independence, developing positive work relationships, and building the knowledge, skills, and behaviors essential for long-term success on the job. Duties include but not limited to: Identify employment opportunities with the people supported based on individualized assessment information. Conducts individualized job development by speaking with employers in the community about the person's abilities and desires to obtain employment. Assist participants in preparing for interviews, completing job applications, and developing job-related skills. Develop positive relationships with businesses, community agencies, other departments, and outside vendors. Conduct assessments to identify accommodations for each person. Provide discovery, job development, follow along support and ongoing job supports to the people supported at their places of employment, including job coaching and advocacy as needed. Provide transportation to and from places of employment, as needed. Complete accurate and timely daily documentation of all employment services.
High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more Full drivers license with a clean driving record with 2 years driving experience. Experience working with disabled adults preferred Associate degree preferred Basic computer skills Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the participants and demands of the job. DDA, LTSS and ICM experience is a plus
Successful completion of Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of the Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) certification within 12 months of hire.
