The role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic tests across various laboratory sections, including blood bank, hematology, and chemistry, while ensuring courteous interaction with all hospital personnel and patients. Responsibilities also include drawing blood, packaging specimens, prioritizing requests, recording and transmitting accurate test results, and managing billing information.
For the MLT role, an Associate's degree and completion of an approved internship are required, with ASCP eligibility needed; for the MT role, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related science field and completion of an internship are necessary, requiring ASCP or equivalent certification within six months. Computer skills are preferred for both positions.
