The Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory therapy and associated diagnostics for patients in inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings. Responsibilities include operating clinical equipment, interpreting blood gases, and educating patients and families on disease processes and treatment.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory care program and possess NBRC and Minnesota State registration. The role requires competency in various respiratory treatments and the ability to obtain BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications within the first year.

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the performance of respiratory therapy and associated diagnostics to patients and residents in the inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings. Carries out the responsibilities and duties of a Respiratory Therapist and performs all modalities of respiratory therapy care common to the field, according to established plans of care and at the direction of the treating provider.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports
