The MRI Technologist performs MRI examinations on patients according to department procedures and under the direction of the Section Chief and Manager. They are responsible for maintaining technical continuity of care, documenting clinical observations, and ensuring the quality of digital images sent to PACS.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ARRT-recognized program or be ARRT/ARMRIT registered or registry-eligible. The role requires BLS certification within three months of hire and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting patients up to 400 pounds with assistance.
