The Peer Recovery Support Specialist provides individual and group support to clients while facilitating their recovery journey through lived experience. They are also responsible for transporting clients to various recovery-related locations and collaborating with the clinical team on treatment plans.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification. The role requires availability for evening and weekend shifts.
The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist at Dove Recovery plays a key role in supporting clients through their recovery journey. This position focuses on providing compassionate, peer based support services, including individual and group sessions, as well as transportation for clients between recovery housing, the treatment center, and community meetings. The Peer Support Specialist uses their own lived experience to connect with clients, offering hope and guidance while promoting a sense of belonging and community.
