The candidate will investigate how transposons mobilize and are expressed in model organism cells such as Drosophila, mouse, and mosquito. The role involves studying basic gene regulation mechanisms by small RNAs and the RNA interference pathway.
A bachelor's degree in life science is required. Experience in genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, or deep sequencing is preferred.
